Danny checks in for his weekly video Diary to talk all things Home By The Lee as he climbs aboard the classy stayer in the Grade Two Lismullen Hurdle at Navan on Saturday.

He also previews Cheltenham feature race on Saturday and give us his 1,2,3 as he attempts to land the Trifecta in the Paddy Power Gold Cup.

He shares his views on the new David Power Jockey Challenge and has some Footballing fun ahead of Sunday’s interesting England Vs Ireland National League clash.

Scroll down for Danny’s thoughts on his best chances at Navan on Saturday, including Mr Percy, Solness in the Fortria Chase and Galway Hurdle winner Nurburgring - who makes his debut over fences.

12:50 Navan, Hotel Park St. Johann In Tirol Austria Handicap Hurdle

DAME RAPIDE runs in the two-mile handicap hurdle. She won nicely in Fairyhouse on good ground and followed it up with a great run at Down Royal in a valuable handicap.

Her Beginners Chase run in Gowran is good form too. Ground is going to be the key for her, she needs it nice and lively so, hopefully it won’t be too slow for Dame Rapide.

13:15 Navan, Bar One Racing For Auction Novice Hurdle (Grade 3)

MR PERCY learned a lot from his early mishap in Gowran Park when he won in Limerick the last day.

The form of that run has worked out nice enough and those that were behind him have shown some solid handicap form since.

I think with natural improvement, in what is a very competitive race, he definitely has a winning chance.

14:33 Navan, Fortria Chase (Grade 2)

SOLNESS drops back from two and a half miles to two miles here, which is his optimum trip.

I’m hoping he’ll give a good account of himself but this is very competitive, there are a lot of Grade One horses in this.

15:08 Navan, Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase

NURBURGRING in the Beginners Chase. This is often one of the good trials for the Grade One two-mile chasers at Christmas time and it’s and exciting renewal here again.

I think while he is a four-year-old stepping out into open company, he was a four-year-old that was able to win a Galway Hurdle. So, he’s got his eight pounds allowance, although it’s difficult for them to do it - I think he should be properly in the mix here.
