It's final few days of the Galway Summer Festival! Mixed cards have been the theme of the week at the Connacht track and it is the shame heading into the weekend.

Our Tote Ambassadors have some good chances on the card and have provided us with their thoughts on this afternoon's rides.

Danny Mullins' rides

14:30 - BoyleSports Handicap Hurdle (Grade B)

Saturday at Galway in the staying Handicap hurdle, I ride FINEST EVERMORE who had a decent run last time out in Leopardstown, she missed a little bit of time last time out but I think she’s a mare who could have a little bit up her sleeves still off 137, hopefully she will be bang there and have a good chance of winning the race.

Most likely ILIKEDTHEWAYURTHINKIN will run well. Just disappointed the last couple of times over fences, but getting back to his Aintree run and I think this type of race could be well within his grasp.

Chris Hayes' rides

15:40 - Bathshack Maiden

TOUCHING CLOUDS had a very good run in Gowran Park, she has a lovely draw today. I’d be hopeful of a good run and she goes there with a favourite’s chance. Joseph O’Brien’s would be open to a bit of improvement but I think my filly, if she handles the track - she handled Gowran Park, so that shouldn’t be an issue. The ground has changed, so it would probably be on the heavy side now. I think my filly has a great chance of improving on her last run.

16:45 - Ardilaun Hotel Handicap

CAILIN CLISTE is my second ride. She has a terrible draw and I’d have a slight concern about her on the ground. If she does take part, the step up in trip won’t be an issue.

In the race I thought EXCUZIO JOE and Declan McDonogh were a shade unlucky earlier in the week when they were fourth, they had a nice draw and could take a little bit of pegging back from there. MARY SALOME and SAN AER would be good each-way value from where they are drawn and their stables are in form.

17:20 - McDonogh Capital Investments Handicap

SOOTABILITY is my final of the night - if she gets in. She has form over a mile and a quarter and we are hopeful over a mile and a half. Hopefully we can get a run, it's for a local trainer back home in Limerick in Owen McCarthy, he’s doing well of late. It would be nice to get one on the board for him.
