We are delighted to now be commingling into the PMU hosted French Horse racing pools, which allows you to bet directly into the pools across the French racing calendar including the Arc meeting at Longchamp.
The racing predominantly takes place during the afternoon between the hours of 11 and 18:00, but there is the odd evening card on the calendar.
What pools will the UK Tote be commingling into?
In phase 1 of our French racing offering we will have our most popular single leg pools available, including:

- Place
- Exacta - Available on fields of 4-7 runners
- Trifecta - Available on fields of 4-7 runners
- Quinella - Available on fields of 8+ runners
- Swinger - Available on fields of 8+ runners
What are the Place terms on the PMU Place pool?
- 1-3 runners – Win Only
- 4-7 runners – 2 places
- 8+ - 3 Places
Will we host Multi-leg pools on French Racing?
No. In the past we have offered locally run Placepots on French cards, but the PMU are not happy for us to do this. Discussions are on going and hopefully it’s something we offer in the future.
Will we bet into all French tracks?
The majority yes, there are a handful of lesser tracks across France we wont take. Every meeting that PMU cover, PA provide a Racecard for and ATR provide streaming.
Will we have race card enrichment?
Yes, as part of a new PA enrichment enablement the website and apps will benefit from similar enrichment to our UK Racing Post enriched cards.
Notable differences are a new tips of Danger, Alternative and Dark Horse that replace the RP race verdict.
What Tote channels will French Racing be available on?
Initially French racing will be available on our Website, Mobile Web, Android and iOS apps.
Will Tote+ be available on French racing?
No. Tote+ will not be available on French racing at this time.
What are the minimum stakes on French racing?
- Win - £/€2 min bet – 0.01 increments = £2.01 is fine
- Place £/€2 min bet - 0.01 increments = £2.01 is fine
- Exacta - £/€2 min total bet - £/€1 min unit stake – 0.01 increments
- Trifecta - £/€2 min bet -£/€1 min unit stake – 0.01 increments
- Quinella - £/€2 min bet - £/€1 min unit stake – 0.01 increments
What are the pool deduction rates on French Racing?
- Win/Place – 15.05%
- Exacta/Swinger/Quinella – 27%
- Trifecta – 30.90%
Will provide streaming or French Racing Digital Platforms (web and app)?
Yes, any meeting available on the existing ATR stream will be available. Some of the lesser French meetings won’t have a stream.
What are the rules around Non Runner dividends?
Unique to the PMU, some bet types will pay out a non-runner dividend rather than refunding your bet.
- Win and Place – Standard single dividends
- Exacta/Quinella – Should your bet contain a non-runner but your other selection comed first, then the customer is paid a NR dividend
