With Tote Multis, you have the freedom to combine multiple selections into a single accumulator bet. Tote Multis work like traditional bookmaker accumulators, but you get the best of SP or the Tote dividend, whichever is bigger. What is a Tote Multi?
A Tote Multi is a customisable accumulator bet that combines multiple selections across Win or Place pools in one bet. Unlike other multi-leg bets such as Placepot or Quadpot, a Tote Multi allows you to freely choose the horses and races you want to include in your wager.
If your chosen selection wins, the returns roll over from one selection to the next, creating a combined payout.
How Does a Tote Multi Work?
When you place a Tote Multi, each leg (selection) of your bet is placed into the pool of the relevant race:
- First Leg: Your stake enters the Win or Place pool for the first selection.
- Roll-Over Winnings: If the first selection wins, the winnings automatically roll over to the next leg in your Multi.
- Final Return: Once all selections win, the combined winnings from each leg are returned to you.
For example:
- You place a £10 treble (3 selections) on three horses to win.
- Your £10 stake goes into the pool for the first horse’s race.
- If that horse wins, the winnings roll over to the second selection’s pool, and so on until the final leg.
Types of Tote Multi Bets Available
You can create a variety of accumulators, including:
- Double (2 selections)
- Treble (3 selections)
- 4-fold, 5-fold, and more, up to a 12-fold accumulator in this first phase.
Each selection needs to win for the overall bet to win.
Betting Options and Availability
Bets Allowed:
- Multis are available for Win and Place pools. Each-Way bets are also an option.
Platforms Supported:
- Tote Multis can be placed on our website, mobile web, Android, and iOS apps. Text betting support will be introduced in a future update.
Meetings:
- For now, all selections in a Tote Multi must come from the same race meeting (e.g., all at Ascot or all at Haydock). We plan to support selections from different meetings in future updates.
SP Guarantee on Tote Multis
The SP Guarantee applies to Tote Multis, ensuring you receive an enhanced return based on the higher of the Tote or SP prices.
How It Works:
Tote Guarantee will be applied on each leg of your Multi bet, in the same way as it is in the Tote Win pool, so you’ll always get the best price.
Example:
- A £1 treble with SP odds of 3/1, 4/1, and 10/1 would return £220.
- If the tote dividend was less than SP on one of the legs, you would receive the topped-up SP. If the tote dividend was bigger than SP, you would receive the Tote dividend.
- So if for the above £1 Treble, the Tote dividends were 3.5, 5.50, and 12, you would receive the topped up SP on leg 1 and the bigger Tote dividend in legs 2 and 3. So the multi would return Tote Guaranteed odds of 3/1, 9/2, and 11/1, meaning the £1 Tote Treble would return an enhanced £264.
Using Tote Credit and Stayers Club
You can use Tote Credit (such as a Welcome offer) on Tote Multis. However, Stayers Club credit cannot be used on Multi bets, and Multi bets do not contribute towards Stayers Club qualification.
Minimum and Maximum Stakes
- Minimum Stake: £0.10/€0.10, allowing flexibility to place multiple Multi bets.
- Maximum Stake: £100,000/€100,000 (subject to change based on usage). This includes money rolling from pool to pool, so the maximum placed on a selection (for example the last leg of a Multi) is £100,000/€100,000
How to Track Tote Multi Bets
- On Your Account: Tote Multis will appear in your account’s Tote Bets area, where you can see each selection and follow along as results come in.
- On Tote Pool Live Info: Tote Multis will not appear separately on Tote Pool Live Info, as they are integrated within the Win pool results.

Q: Can I place a Multi across different race meetings?
A: Not yet! Currently, all selections must be from the same meeting. We’re working on enabling Multi bets across different meetings in a future update.
Q: Can I place Each Way Multis?
A: Yes, you can place Each Way multis by checking the “E/W” box in the betslip. The place part of the bet will be in the Tote Place pool and the payout determined by the declared Place dividend.
Q: What happens if one of my selections loses?
A: If any selection in your Multi loses, the whole bet is considered lost.
Q: Can I use a Stayers Club credit for a Multi?
A: No, Stayers Club credits cannot be used for Multi bets, nor do Multi bets contribute to Stayers Club qualification.
