Located on the glitzy Cote D’Azur between Cannes and Nice, you’d expect Cagnes Sur Mer to be home to a number of must-win races. That is certainly true for harness racing, which calls the track home with the Grand Criterium Speed of the Rivieira, one of the sports biggest races in Europe held there every summer.
For thoroughbreds, the track boasts both flat and jumps courses with the latter taking in the Grade 3 Grand Prix de la Ville de Nice over 2m7f in January. Year-round racing on the seafront in the south of France, Cagnes Sur Mer ticks plenty of boxes.
