Situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees, Pau is a wonderful track to visit in a stunning part of France. Boasting a plethora of tracks, including a chase and hurdles track, an all-weather flat track (the first in France), as well as a cross-country circuit in the middle, Pau has it all.
The Grade 3 Grand Prix de Pau, a steeplechase over 3m2½f which has been a fixture on the calendar since 1887, is the seasonal feature at the course. The majority of cards at Pau take place through the winter, from December to April.
