About Sandown Park
One of the south-east’s premier courses, Sandown hosts Group and Grade 1s on the flat and over the obstacles. A who’s who of flat racing legends have landed the venue’s feature race on the flat, the Eclipse Stakes. Dancing Brave, Giants Causeway, Sea The Stars and Enable are just some of the stars to have landed the 10 furlong contest.
The climb up Sandown’s home straight can often find out non-stayers, while it’s railway fences are some of the most formidable obstacles over the jumps course.
