DANCING IN PARIS

DANCING IN PARIS has been running well in competitive staying and middle distance handicaps this season. A winner at Ascot in July beating Tactician in a (0-90) handicap, he then ran well finishing fourth behind Temporize in a class 2 at Newbury before finishing mid-division behind Align The Stars at Glorious Goodwood. A good effort last time out at Ascot in the Shergar Cup Challenge saw him finish third behind Insanity and on a lower all-weather handicap mark here, he's sure to involved again.

Selection: Dancing In Paris (Win & Place)

KODIAC THRILLER

KODIAC THRILLER ended his two year-old campaign winning at Lingfield in December on the all-weather. He made a pleasing seasonal reappearance when third behind Key To Cotai at Newmarket in May and then followed up by a pair of fourth place finishes at Doncaster and Lingfield. He bounced back to form last time out Windsor when a ¾L second behind Lucky Man and Charles Hills 3 year-old is one for the shortlist here.

Selection: Kodiac Thriller (Win & Place)

WARMONGER

WARMONGER comes here chasing a four timer after landing an impressive hat-trick in his last three starts. In typical Sir Mark Prescott fashion he's massively improved and really caught the eye for the step up trip.  He opened his account at Lingfield over 2m½f in July winning by 2¼L, before beating last weeks Racing League winner Road To Wembley in impressive style at Newbury by 1¼l. later that month. Last time out at Kempton he breezed to a 3¾L success and although the handicapper hasn't missed him he's got to be high on the shortlist here to make it 4 in a row.

Selection: Warmonger (Win & Place)

TROPEZ POWER

Previous C&D winner TROPEZ POWER has been in knocking on the door on recent starts, including when not getting a clear run in the Racing League at Wolverhampton last time out. A consistent performer, who goes well here he's got to be of consideration tonight.

Selection: Tropez Power:

JER BATT

JER BATT is a talented sprinter who won a very competitive Sunday Series race at Haydock last time out beating American Affair. A previous C&D winner last season and improving with each run, he warrants respect back here in his current form.

Selection: Jer Batt (Win & Place)

Once famous for it's Fibresand, Southwell now embarks on a new life with a Tapeta track and looks to become home to a new set of course specialists. The likes of La Estrella, Stand Guard and General Tufto have all racked up the wins at the Nottinghamshire track over the years.

In addition to the left-handed all-weather track, Southwell also boasts a jumps course which is a real test of jumping throughout the summer months in it’s chases, but allows the odd mistake over it’s fixed brush hurdles.
