A 34 hectare green space slap, bang in the middle of the city of Toulouse is home to the Hippodrome de Toulouse. Previously used for a mixture of flat and jumps racing, currently only flat contests take place at the course in the Midi Pyrenees region of France. An all-weather track in the centre of the course hosts trotting racing, while a turf track around the outside is used for thoroughbred contests.
The Group 3 Prix Fille de L’Air, held on Armistice Day at Toulouse since 1997 is the feature contest at the track. The race was won in 2019 by Ambition, a daughter of the 2013 Epsom Oaks heroine, Talent.
