About Vichy Racecourse

Vichy serves as a right-handed track with races staged both over hurdles and on the flat, along with a bit of trotting from time to time. Like many tracks in France, there is a much sharper all-weather track on the inside of the turf configurations.

The racecourse is set on over 50 acres in the Auvergne region of central France and stages around forty meetings per year. The Group 3 Grand Prix de Vichy-Auvergne takes place in July and, on the flat, top French jockey Christophe Soumillion is the leading rider.
