The feature racing on ITV Racing comes from York on Saturday, with the Ebor Handicap at 3:40pm the main race of the week. Racing tipster Kevin O’Malley likes three horses in particular set to be shown live on ITV, with two picks at York and one down at Sandown Park.

Haggis mare to Master her City of York rivals

One Master is improving with every run this season and has the class and recent form to strike while the iron is hot under Tom Marquand. The daughter of Fastnet Rock scored snuggly despite the narrow winning margin at Goodwood last time out and conditions and absolutely spot on for a repeat effort.

Ground and trip the key to One Master

This six-year-old is a real Group performer, but under the right circumstances and while she’s versatile, seven furlongs with a bit of cut in the ground is right where she needs to be to show her best form. Safe Voyage is likely to make her work for it, but One Master’s finishing kick will prove too strong here.

Ben MacDui set for Listed success for Ryan

Kevin Ryan’s Ben MacDui is clearly a sharp juvenile having won his debut novice in good style, before gamely chasing home Steel Bull at Goodwood last time out. But he is still a bit green and keen, meaning to me that there is more improvement and professionalism in his work to come and he looks set to run a huge race in the 4:10pm.

Stott riding on top of his game

Kevin Stott is becoming top class jockey this season. Somewhat under the radar, but he is every bit as good as anyone in the weighing room and this is his third outing on Ben MacDui. The pair face a stiff test today, but all the signs are there that they can muster up a winning run.

Enigmatic to follow up Leicester win

Enigmatic looks a solid looking each-way bet for his latest trainer, Joseph Parr. Having enlisted the services of the in-form James Doyle, this horse is very interesting for this one mile heat. He was off the boil for the latter part of 2019 and early this season, but roared back to form at Leicester last time out and has to be respected on the back of that.

Parr’s charge is still well-handicapped

The handicapper has put him up by 5lb for the win, but he is still 8lb below his highest recent mark and remains a very well-handicapped horse. First time cheekpieces are applied today, which should sharpen his focus further and it’s possible the market will under-estimate his chances.
